Neurologist
Professor Jean Jacques Ashkenazi is a top neurological clinician and expert in the field of Parkinson’s disease and neurological sleep disorders. A graduate of University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, he treats the most difficult neurological diseases for more than 60 years.
Jean Jacques Ashkenazi started his medical career in Romania, then followed the medical practice, which the doctor combined with scientific work. He is a pioneer in his research field. The doctor brilliantly defended his thesis and gained fame among the Romanian elite as a progressive and highly professional neurologist.
After moving to permanent residence in Israel, Jean Jacques Ashkenazi quickly acquired the status of a leading neurologist. The professor is the first founder of somnology courses in Israel.
In addition to extensive medical practice, Jean Jacques Ashkenazi also conducts scientific work: his authorship includes thirteen books and more than ninety articles, in which he sets out the results of his research and analyzes various problems associated with neurological pathologies.
