Dr. Guy Rafaely is internationally renowned for his work in developing minimally invasive vein treatments, diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization of the brain and spinal cord, cerebral vessels stenting, embolization.
Education and in-service training
2001: Graduated from Technion medical school.
2001-2006: Residency in Hadassah
2008: Intensive Neurological Vascular Surgery in Paris, France, Bichat Claude Bernard Hospital, in invasive treatments for acute stroke.
2008-2010: Interventional Neurodermatology Training at ERASME Hospital in Brussels,
Belgium. Emphasis on endovascular therapy in cerebral aneurysms, malformations and scoliosis, as well as advanced diagnostic vascular neurodegenerative studies in the interpretation of advanced brain imaging (CTA and MRA).
11/2009: WORKSHOP in remodeling of complex aneurysms using a balloon and / or stent, ESSEN, Germany.
Academic and scientific work
Dr. Guy Rafaely conducts clinical researches, works as a senior Lecture at the University of Tel Aviv. The author of more than 15 articles in the field of neurology.
