Achievements

Since 2007, the Rambam Medical Center has been tightly involved into several development efforts that include upgrading patient services, building new medical facilities, and fortifying existing hospitals in order to promptly and accurately withstand and handle any ongoing emergency situations. Among the new advanced facilities, Rambam clinic plans to suggest an emergency underground hospital that is going to be able to generate its own power and also provide oxygen, still drinking water, and medical supplies for at least three days.
