Prof. Miha Fainberg

Cardiologist, the Head of the Department of Non-Invasive Cardiology

Professor Mihai Feinberg is one of the most famous Israeli cardiologists. It was he who was standing at the beginning of non-invasive treatment of heart and vascular diseases. In addition, Professor Feinberg was a pioneer of stress echocardiography in the protocol for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. Micha Fainberg has more than 30 years in medicine.

Education and medical practice

1978-1984 – Training at the medical faculty of Tel Aviv University.
1987 – 1991 – Internship at the Shiba Medical Center in Israel, specializing in diagnostic cardiology.
1992 – 1994 – Foreign internship in echocardiography, University of Washington in St. Louis, Missouri, United States of America.
Mihai started working as a doctor in 1987 at the Shiba Hospital- one of the largest Israeli state hospitals. A few years later he became the senior echocardiologist of this medical center.
Since 1997 Dr. Findberg holds the post of the Head of the Department of Non-Invasive Cardiology.

Scientific activity

Professor Feinberg is actively engaged in scientific and research activities. He is the author of a large number of scientific papers and publications. The main fields of scientific research of Dr. Findberg are treatment of heart failure, as well as the pathology of valvular and coronary valves. He lectures both nationally and internationally on many different facets of cardiology.
